On February 18, District 1 officers responded to a robbery in the 4800 block of River De Peres, at approximately 5:30 p.m.
An 18-year-old man told officers he was sitting on a bench at the above location waiting for a rideshare. He was approached by three males who pointed guns at him and demanded his property. Taken was the 18-year-old’s bag, bank card, headphones, and cash.
The three males ran away. Officers, with the help of K9, tracked to a nearby location. Where officers located a man matching the description of one of the suspects. The man ran into a home, when he saw officers.
The homeowner allowed officers inside the residence where a 16-year-old male, a 17-year-old male, and an 18-year-old man, were taken into custody. Officers located and seized property and guns.
This investigation remains ongoing.
