Update: Three of the four deceased victims have been identified as the following, while attempts to positively identify the fourth remain ongoing:
67-year-old Wendell Simmons of Bel-Ridge, MO
33-year-old Justin Wells of St. Louis City, MO
34-year-old Ashley Cardwell of St. Louis City, MO
On May 18 at 8:30 a.m., District 1 officers were requested by Fire Alarm to the 800 block of Schirmer for a suspicious death.
While searching the residence, officers located two females and two males all suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS responded and pronounced the four dead at the scene. Homicide is handling this investigation and is working to determine the circumstances of the incident. Firearms and suspected narcotics were located at the scene. More information will be provided once made available.
