UPDATE: The deceased man has been identified as 33-year-old Antone Lane of St. Ann, MO
On March 30, 2026, around 1:15am, District 5 officers responded to a local hospital for reports of a shooting victim.
When officers arrived, they were informed of a 33-year-old man who had been shot and dropped off for medical treatment. The vehicle that was used to drop the man off appeared to have ballistic damage.
The man died at the hospital several hours later.
The man’s name is not being released until family is notified and the Medical Examiner confirms his identity.
