On March 6, District 2 officers received a report of a robbery that happened in the 4500 block of South Broadway, at approximately 1 a.m.
A 17-year-old male told officers a known juvenile and another unknown male, picked him up to smoke. The three went to the above location to buy cigarillos. The known juvenile then pointed a gun at the 17-year-old, stole the 17-year-old’s gun from his waistband, and then assaulted him with both guns. The 17-year-old exited the car and the two males drove away.
The 17-year-old refused medical attention.
This investigation remains ongoing.
