Two Teens Shot in Gravois Park

District 3 is investigating a shooting that left two teens injured on April 14, 2025 at the Schnucks parking lot in the 3400 block of S. Grand Blvd.

At approximately 10:35 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the location. Upon arriving, they were advised an 18-year-old male had been transported to the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. He was listed in critical but stable condition.

While on scene, officers were advised a second shooting victim, a 19-year-old male, was located at Cherokee & Gravois. EMS transported the 19-year-old to the hospital where he was also listed in critical but stable condition.

A preliminary investigation revealed the two teens met at the Schnucks parking lot to conduct a gun sale with unknown buyers. During the transaction, the teens were shot by the buyers. No information about the buyers was able to be obtained, as the teens were minimally cooperative with police.

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
