Man shot after striking another man with his car, Kingsway West

On April 19, District 5 officers responded to a shooting at the Schnucks located at 3431 Union, just after 5 p.m.

A 57-year-old man and several witnesses told officers that a man driving a gray Ford struck the 57-year-old with his vehicle. The man continued driving around the parking lot threatening the 57-year-old.

The 57-year-old man grabbed his gun and fired one shot towards the car. The man in the car then drove away.

Moments later, officers received an additional call for a shooting in the 4600 block of Natural Bridge and located a 66-year-old man, shot in the arm, occupying a gray Ford that had crashed.  

EMS responded and transported the 66-year-old man to a nearby hospital, in stable condition.

The 57-year-old man was arrested and charges will be sought.
