Update: Officers arrest suspect after deadly Monday morning shooting

Update on June 26 at 10:22 a.m.:

Homicide detectives have identified the deceased victim as 38-year-old Diandre McGee of Jennings, MO.


Original post on June 17 at 6:13 p.m.:

Homicide detectives have been called to investigate a deadly shooting in the 3600 block of W. Upton St.1

Officers first responded to a shooting call just before 11 a.m. on June 17.

When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim died at the scene.

A suspect, a 21-year-old white male, was taken into custody by officers at the scene.
