District 3 officers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on June 21, just before 9:00 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 15-year-old male pedestrian ran across Gravois and was struck by a Ford Explorer. The driver of the Ford Explorer remained on scene.
The juvenile pedestrian was transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment.
The Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted on June 26 and advised that the 15-year-old pedestrian died at the hospital that day.
