Four people were injured after being involved in a fight with each other during the early morning hours of July 1 in the Midtown neighborhood.
Shortly after 1:35 a.m., officers received a call for an assault and met two adult males who reported being involved in a physical altercation with two other adult males at Samuel Shephard Drive & Beaumont Street. The men alleged they were assaulted with razor blades and closed fists with a metal chain wrapped around them by the two other males. Prior to the completion of this report, officers were notified that the two other males showed up at a hospital with injuries and reported they were assaulted and not the aggressors. Both parties provided conflicting statements of who initiated the fight.
All four subjects were admitted to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
