District 5 officers responded to an area hospital for a Shooting-Prior around 10:30 a.m. on July 5.
A 63-year-old man was dropped off at the hospital with an apparent gunshot wound to his shoulder.
He told officers he was shot in the 1600 block of N. Kingshighway. Officers located a scene at that location.
The 63-year-old man was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
