District 2 officers responded to an area hospital around 5:30 p.m. on July 6, after a 17-year-old male was dropped off with apparent gunshot wounds to his hand and leg.
The male had been sedated prior to police arriving and was unable to provide detailed informaiton.
Investigation revealed a call for Shots Fired-Just Occurred shortly before the victim arrived at the hospital, in the area of the 1400 block of Wright, in District 4.
The 17-year-old was listed in stable condition.
The exact location of occurrence has not been determined at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
