UPDATE: 2 Men Arrested in Shooting Death of Montrez Heart

On July 18, Homicide investigators arrested a 47-year-old man. On July 19, the Circuit Attorney’s Office issued charges of Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action against the 47-year-old man, who remains in custody as of this update.

On July 19, Homicide investigators arrested a 51-year-old man. Investigators will be applying on charges against the man today, July 20.

Homicide detectives have identified the deceased victim as 24-year-old Montrez Heart of Hillsdale, MO.

UPDATE:

Homicide detectives are now investigating after the 24-year-old man died at an area hospital on Friday, July 12.

District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on July 10 in the Mark Twain/I-70 Industrial neighborhood.

Around 3:50 p.m., officers were advised of a 24-year-old male that was dropped off at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He was listed in critical condition. Due to the victim’s condition, he was unable to provide a statement of what occurred.
