District 6 officers responded to a Shooting in the area of Warne and W. Florissant shortly before 7:00 p.m. on July 19.
A 43-year-old man was involved in a motor vehicle crash with a 39-year-old man. Preliminary information is that the 43-year-old man left the scene of the crash and the 39-year-old man followed, both men still driving.
The 39-year-old man intentionally struck the 43-year-old man’s vehicle with his own vehicle near Warne and W. Florissant.
The 39-year-old man approached the 43-year-old man, who attempted to drive away. The 39-year-old man produced a firearm and shot the 43-year-old man.
EMS transported the 43-year-old man to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
