District 6 is investigating a shooting that injured a man on July 26 in the Penrose neighborhood.
Around 10:20 a.m., officers were called to the 4400 block of Margaretta for a 40-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim told officers that around 9:35 a.m. he was in the 4400 block of Farlin when he heard gunshots and was struck. EMS transported him to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
