District 5 is investigating a robbery that occurred on July 29 in the Wells / Goodfellow neighborhood.
Shortly after 12:50 p.m., officers received a call for a holdup and located the victim, a 48-year-old male, at his job. The victim said at 12:45 p.m., he was at Norwood & Lexington Avenues when he was waived down by an unknown man asking for a change of address form. The victim said when he went to his van to retrieve a form, the man entered the van and produced a pistol while pulling the victim to the floor. The suspect took the victim’s property and then fled from the scene.
