District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a 19-year-old male injured on August 7 in the Walnut Park East neighborhood.
The victim told officers that at approximately 11:05 p.m., he was sitting on a porch in the 4900 block of Wren when an unknown male suspect pointed a firearm and fired shots at him. The victim was struck in his knee and transported to the hospital via private conveyance. He was listed in stable condition.
