District 5 officers responded to a Shooting in the 5700 block of Cates around 3:00 a.m. on August 24.
An unidentified man was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach. EMS transported the man to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Due to his injuries, the man was unable to provide a statement.
