District 6 officers responded to a Shooting in the 1300 block of Lynhaven around 8:30 p.m. on August 28.
Officers located a 40-year-old man who was shot in the foot. The 40-year-old told officers he was involved in a verbal altercation with his landlord, a 52-year-old man. The 52-year-old man then shot the 40-year-old man in the foot with a rifle.
The 52-year-man fled the area before police arrived.
EMS responded and transported the 40-year-old man to an area hospital where he was listed as stable.
The investigation is ongoing.
