District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a 50-year-old man in serious but stable condition on September 3 in the Penrose neighborhood.
Around 5:15 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the area of Penrose St. & N. Grand Blvd. The 50-year-old man was being privately conveyed to a hospital suffering from gunshot wounds at the time of the call.
The man was unable to provide a statement due to his injuries, and an investigation into the motive of the shooting remains ongoing.
