District 3 officers responded to a Shooting in the 3600 block of Pennsylvania around 5:00 p.m. on September 6.
Officers found a 35-year-old man who had been shot. EMS took the man to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Officers learned that a 53-year-old man had shot into the residence where the 35-year-old man had been shot. The 53-year-old man was found to be a convicted felon and was arrested without incident.
On September 7, the Circuit Attorney’s Office issued charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm against the 53-year-old man.
