District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 60-year-old man injured on September 15 in The Ville neighborhood.
The 60-year-old man told officers around 10:30 a.m., he was walking in the 2600 block of Sarah when he was approached by a gray Chevy sedan, and an unknown occupant(s) fired shots at him. The man said the gray sedan fled after the incident.
EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
