District 6 is investigating a domestic robbery that occurred around 10 p.m. on October 3 in the 3600 block of N. Taylor.
A 35-year-old woman told officers she was walking home when her ex-boyfriend approached her with a handgun and chocked her. The woman said the suspect then threw her to the ground, snatched her possessions, and then ran from the scene. The woman, however, refused to provide officers any information about the ex-boyfriend.
The woman sustained minor injuries from the assault and refused medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
