Accident Reconstruction is investigating a deadly hit-and-run pedestrian crash.
District 6 officers were called to the 3800 block of Lee around 1:45 a.m. on October 14 after a witness found a man, dead in the road. The original vehicle that hit the man left the scene.
While the witness was at the crash scene, the pedestrian in the road was hit by a second vehicle, which stayed at the scene.
It should be noted that at approximately 1 a.m., a call was received about a person dancing and lying in the road, in the same area. At that time, the pedestrian refused medical treatment.
The man has not been identified.
Accident Reconstruction has assumed the ongoing investigation.
