Homicide Detectives have taken the lead on a shooting that left a woman in critical/unstable condition on July 31 in Wells-Goodfellow.
Just before 9:15 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the Gulf gas station in the 5700 block of Natural Bridge Avenue. Upon arriving, they located a 47-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her head inside a vehicle on the parking lot. She was unconscious but breathing.
EMS responded and transported the woman to the hospital where she was listed in critical/unstable condition1. Due to her condition, the Homicide Division assumed the investigation.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Homicide Division directly at 314-444-5371.
