Woman in Critical Condition after Shooting in Wells-Goodfellow

Homicide Detectives have taken the lead on a shooting that left a woman in critical/unstable condition on July 31 in Wells-Goodfellow.

Just before 9:15 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the Gulf gas station in the 5700 block of Natural Bridge Avenue. Upon arriving, they located a 47-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her head inside a vehicle on the parking lot. She was unconscious but breathing.

EMS responded and transported the woman to the hospital where she was listed in critical/unstable condition1. Due to her condition, the Homicide Division assumed the investigation.
