PHOTOS: Suspect Sought in Forest Park Southeast Carjacking

Second District Detectives are investigating a carjacking that occurred on July 28, 2025 in Forest Park Southeast.

A preliminary investigation revealed at around 4 p.m. on July 28, a 30-year-old woman was walking to her Nissan Rogue in the 4000 block of Chouteau when she was approached by an unknown male suspect from behind. The woman said the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the keys to her Rouge.

The woman complied and relinquished her keys to the suspect. The suspect then entered the Rouge and fled northbound on Sarah Avenue until it was out of sight. The woman was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, with medium length dreadlocks. He was wearing a white t-shirt, a black jacket with “Calvin Klein” lettering on the back, black Adidas pants with white strips, a cross-body bag, and white/black shoes. He is considered armed & dangerous.
