District 4 Detectives are investigating after a 28-year-old man was assaulted with a gun and robbed of a proxy-card in a downtown parking garage.
The 28-year-old man was alerted via his key fob that his vehicle’s alarm was sounding. He responded to the parking garage in the 800 block of N 11 St. to investigate, when he observed 3 masked suspects exiting his vehicle through the sunroof.
The 3 masked suspects chased the 28-year old man down, tackled him and struck him with a gun. The 3 masked suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle after stealing the 28-year-old man’s proxy-card.
