District 1 is investigating a robbery that happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the rear of the 3600 block of Meramec.
A 40-year-old man told officers he was received an alert on his key fob that something was going on with his vehicle. The man said when he responded outside to his car, he saw two unknown males wearing all black and face masks at his car.
The 40-year-old man said the suspects pointed guns at him and announced a robbery. The man said he relinquished his car keys and phone to the suspects. The suspects then fled in the man’s 2017 Chevrolet Trax.
The 40-year-old was not injured during the incident.
