UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 77-year-old Luke Kimble.
Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead, and another injured, on October 16, 2025 in Bevo Mill.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 4500 block of Ridgewood. Upon arriving, they located a 77-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a crashed vehicle. A second man, 24, was located on scene suffering from gunshot wounds.
EMS responded and pronounced the 77-year-old man dead at the scene. The 24-year-old man was transported to the hospital for treatment. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the men being shot.
