On October 26, 2025, around 12:30AM, District 3 officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Gasconade for a shooting.
Officers arrived and located a 32-year-old man inside of a house who had been shot. Witnesses on scene were tending to the man. Officers began administering life-saving care to the shooting victim until EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital; however, the man later died at the hospital.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and are handling the investigation.
A preliminary investigation suggests that the shooting happened outside.
