On Friday, November 14, 2025, around 5:45PM, District 5 officers were called to the area of Goodfellow and Greer for an accident, person struck. When officers arrived, they located an unknown man lying in the middle of Goodfellow. The man had been struck by a vehicle and was not conscious or breathing.
EMS responded and rushed the man to the hospital where he later died.
The Accident Reconstruction Unit responded and conducted a scene investigation. Preliminary information suggests that witnesses observed the man lying in the middle of Goodfellow Ave. when they attempted to help him out of the street. Before they were able to get the man up, a tan pickup truck drove across the man and left the scene.
