District 4 officers responded to a Cutting-Just Occurred, before 7:00 p.m. on July 3, in the 800 block of Olive.
An 18-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his upper back.
The 18-year-old man told officers that he got into an argument with a man he only knows by nickname. At some point in the argument, the man produced a knife and stabbed the 18-year-old man in the back.
The suspect fled the area prior to police arriving.
EMS transported the 18-year-old man to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
