District 3

District 3 is investigating a robbery that occurred on March 30, 2025 at the Ridge Crest Apartments in Marine Villa.

On March 28, 2025, at approximately 5:45 PM, District 3 officers responded to the Walgreens’ parking lot at 1530 Lafayette Ave.

District 3 is investigating a robbery that occurred on March 27, 2025 in the 3600 block of Minnesota Avenue.

District 3 is investigating a shooting that happened on March 23, 2025 in the 2700 block of Keokuk.

District 3 is investigating a carjacking that happened on March 19, 2025 in the 3300 block of Michigan.

District 3 officers responded to a shooting in the 3200 block of Michigan, on March 18, just after 6 p.m. Officers located a 44-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Several witnesses told officers that a man driving a Ford Escape got into a verbal then physical altercation with the 44-year-old man.

District 3 is investigating a shooting that happened at approximately 4:00 p.m. on March 17, 2025 in the 1400 block of Hickory Lane.

On March 8, 2025, at approximately 3:50PM, District Three officers responded to the 2800 block of Potomac St. for a Hold-Up. When officers arrived, they were met by a 21-year-old woman who stated she had just been robbed.

The SLMPD Housing Authority Unit is investigating a robbery that occurred on March 5 in the 1000 block of Morrison Avenue.
