District 3

The SLMPD Housing Authority Unit is investigating a robbery that occurred on March 5 in the 1000 block of Morrison Avenue.

Third District detectives need help identifying and locating the suspects pictured below. They are wanted for vandalizing a SLMPD mobile camera at S. 9th Street & Lafayette Avenue during Mardi Gras on March 1, 2025. Anyone with a tip about this incident who wants to remain anonymous and is interested in a possible cash reward

On March 1, 2025 at approximately 6:40PM, District 3 officers responded to Benton Park where they met an 18-year-old male and an 18-year-old female who stated they were just robbed at gunpoint.

District 3 is investigating a robbery that happened around 3 p.m. on February 28 in an alley at Juniata & South Compton.

District 3 is investigating a shooting that left a 38-year-old man injured on February 24 in the 3600 block of Wisconsin.

On February 22, District 3 officers responded to a shooting at the Quik Trip located in the 2800 block of Gravois, at approximately 7:45 p.m. Officers located a 27-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back. A witness on scene told officers the 27-year-old man and other men on scene were working

UPDATE: Detectives arrested a 17-year-old male in connection to this incident. On January 24, District 3 responded to a carjacking to the 3300 block of Lemp, just before 9 p.m. A 53-year-old man told officers he was waiting in his car for a friend to get inside the house after being dropped off. Suddenly, two
