District 5 is investigating a shooting that happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. on March 13, 2025 in the 3200 block of N. Taylor.

The SLMPD Public Transportation Unit is investigating an incident wherein an unknown male was struck by a MetroLink in Midtown.

District 5 is investigating a shooting that happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. on March 10, 2025 at Euclid Avenue & Leduc Street.

UPDATE: The ages of those involved have been updated after learning new information. District 5 is investigating a shooting that happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Lindell. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were involved in a fight on the parking lot of the Walgreens store

Homicide Detectives are investigating the deaths of a 21-year-old male and a 9-month-old female that occurred on February 28.

On March 5, District 5 officers responded to a robbery that happened in the 4200 block of Cook, at approximately 11 p.m. A 26-year-old woman gave inconsistent statements. She told officers she was picked up by a man. The man then pulled over and demanded her belongings. The 26-year-old woman ran away from the car

District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man injured on March 4 in the 4700 block of Leduc.

District 5 is investigating a robbery that happened on February 25 in the 6100 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Dr.

On February 14, 2025 at approximately 9:55AM, District 5 officers were called to the 1000 block of North Sarah for a robbery. They arrived and located a 61-year-old man who stated he had been robbed.
