District 6 is investigating a stabbing that happened around 11 a.m. at North Broadway & Riverview Boulevard.

District 5 is investigating a robbery that happened at approximately 5:45 a.m. on March 9 in the 4000 block of St. Louis Avenue.

District 6 is investigating a robbery that happened on March 5 in the 6300 block of Sherry Avenue.

On February 17, 2025, around 6:30PM, District 6 officers responded to a call for a hold up that occurred in the 400 block of Blase Ave. Upon arriving, they met with a 25-year-old man who stated he and his girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint while trying to make a sale via an online marketplace.

Arrest Made: On March 3, 2025, District 6 Detectives arrested 27-year-old Jerod Scott relative to an ongoing investigation into multiple online marketplace robberies. On March 4, 2025 the Circuit Attorney’s Office issued three counts of Robbery 1st Degree, three counts of Armed Criminal Action, three counts of UUW- Felon in Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and one count of misdemeanor Stealing.

Update: On March 3, 2025, officers located and arrested a 28-year-old man for this incident. He was previously charged with at-large warrants for Assault 3rd Degree – Special Victim and Tampering with a Witness by the Circuit Attorney’s Office.
