UPDATE: Preliminary autopsy results did not reveal any signs of trauma to the victim. Toxicology results are pending. The case is being turned over to District 6 detectives to continue the investigation, including the investigation into exactly how the woman died and the circumstances surrounding her being left in the 4900 block of Harney.

UPDATE: The deceased female has been identified as 35-year-old Paige Kleinheider of Union, MO. The investigation into the circumstances of this incident remains ongoing.
Homicide detectives have been called-in to investigate a death after someone believed they found human remains.
District 6 officers were called to the 4900 block of Harney Avenue on Sunday just before 12:30 p.m. for a Call for Police Help. When officers arrived, they located what they believed to be a body.
Homicide detectives along with the Medical Examiner’s Office were requested to the scene.
Investigators have determined the person dead is a female and her identity is unknown.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death.
