A 22-year-old man was shot in his side on June 21 around 6:00 p.m.
The victim advised officers that as he was leaving a business in the area, the suspect produced a handgun and fired shots at the victim, who was in a group with two other individuals.
The victim was struck; however, the other two individuals were not injured.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
District 4 detectives are handling the ongoing investigation.
