District 6 is investigating a domestic disturbance that led to a cutting incident on July 2 in the Baden neighborhood.
Around 10:25 p.m., officers received a call for a “cutting” at a residence in the 1000 block of Wall St. A preliminary investigation revealed a 29-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman who were previously romantically involved had an argument about personal matters. During the argument, the man reported he was cut with a knife by the woman after breaking out the windows of her home. The man sustained a small laceration to his chest during the incident and was treated at the scene by EMS.
The Domestic Abuse Response Team is handling this ongoing investigation.
