On September 7, 2025, around 8:30 p.m., District 5 officers responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of W. Cote Brilliante.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot in the back.
EMS responded and attempted life-saving care, but the victim died at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Michael Durley. His family has been notified.
Homicide detectives responded and will take the lead in the investigation.
