On February 1, 2026, just before 2:30am, District 4 officers responded to the 300 block of N. 9th St. for a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a man in his 50’s that had been shot. He was not conscious and not breathing.
EMS responded but the man ultimately died on scene.
Homicide Detectives responded and initiated an investigation.
Real Time Crime Center Detectives, through the use of area cameras, were able to locate a potential suspect in this case and direct officers to them.
A woman in her 30’s was detained pending further investigation.
