Juvenile Shot, Downtown

On April 6, district 4 officers responded to a nearby hospital for a shooting that occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. in the 400 of South 10th.

Officers met with a 16-year-old male, who provided officers with false pedigree information, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds but in stable condition.

Witnesses at the hospital, told officers they were all at a bar at the above location when a fight broke out and they ran to a parking garage. They heard shots being fired and they all ran to the car. They noticed the 16-year-old had been shot and drove him to the hospital. Officers located a gun in the car.

Officers also located a witness at the parking garage, who told them that two males were fighting, they both pulled guns out, and began shooting at each other.
