Juvenile, Woman Injured in Old North St. Louis Shooting

District 4 is investigating a shooting that left a 13-year-old boy and a 30-year-old woman injured on May 27, 2025 in Old North St. Louis.

A preliminary investigation revealed a group of females were arguing at N. 20th Street & N. Florissant Avenue around 4:45 p.m. when gunshots rang out among the group. During the incident, a 30-year-old woman unrelated to the argument was walking her dog and was hit in the leg by the gunfire. A 13-year-old boy who was exiting a vehicle near where the shooting happened was also struck in the abdomen by the gunfire.

EMS responded and transported the 30-year-old woman to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition. The 13-year-old boy was privately conveyed to the hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
