On February 6, 2026 around 10:30 am, District Two officers responded to the 6400 block of Chippewa for a “Shooting.” When they arrived, they located a 21-year-old male that had been shot.
EMS responded to the scene and conveyed the man to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
A preliminary investigation suggests the 21-year-old male victim was near the intersection of Chippewa and Tamm Ave when two masked men, one wearing a grey jumpsuit, approached him armed with firearms. At some point, the suspects shot the victim and fled to an unknown vehicle where they made their escape.
