District 2 officers responded to a Hold Up in the 3700 block of McDonald just after 12:00 a.m. on August 25.
A 29-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man told officers they had just parked and were exiting their vehicle when they were approached by a group of 5 males, possibly juveniles, all wearing masks.
Some of the males were armed with firearms and they told the man and woman to drop their keys to the ground. The man and woman complied and watched from a distance as the group began to rummage through their vehicle.
The group of males ran off when other neighbors came outside.
The investigation is ongoing.
