District 4 Bike Officers where in the area of N. 13th and St. Charles on August 31 around 7:00 p.m. when they heard gunshots.
Officers responded to the area they heard the shots coming from and found a 35-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. The man provided a description of the shooter to officers, which was broadcast by our dispatchers.
Other officers in the area observed a 32-year-old man who matched that description entering an apartment building. Officers were able to take the man into custody without incident and a gun was recovered.
The 35-year-old man was taken to an area hospital by EMS where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
