District 3 officers responded to a shooting in the 3200 block of Michigan, on March 18, just after 6 p.m.
Officers located a 44-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
Several witnesses told officers that a man driving a Ford Escape got into a verbal then physical altercation with the 44-year-old man. The man went to his Escape, grabbed a gun, and shot the 44-year-old man.
The man entered the Escape and drove away. One of the witnesses pointed officers in the direction of the Escape.
Officers found the Escape driving in the 2600 block of Utah and pulled it over. A 43-year-old man was arrested, and a gun was recovered.
