District 4 is investigating a cutting incident that occurred around 1:15 p.m. on January 26 in Downtown West.
A 28-year-old man, who was uncooperative with police, said he was walking near a bus stop when an unknown female suspect stabbed him from behind. The 28-year-old man then responded to the 400 block of S. 14th Street where police were contacted.
The man claimed he did not know exactly where he was when the incident occurred; however, a scene investigation revealed the incident happened in 1600 block of Pine Street.
EMS transported the 28-year-old man to the hospital for treatment of lacerations to his arm and wrist. The investigation is ongoing.
