Just before 5 a.m. on November 15, 2025, St. Louis 911 was notified of an assault when the 911 evaluator heard shots being fired.
District 4 officers responded to the area of North 10th Street and Cass Avenue to investigate. Officers located the victim in an unhoused encampment. He had been shot multiple times.
The victim is an adult man. He has not been positively identified.
An investigation into what led up to the shooting remains under investigation.
