UPDATE: Officers located and arrested a 26-year-old male suspect on January 6, 2025. The Circuit Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and elected to issue charges against the man for Murder 1st, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, Robbery 1st Degree, and UUW Felon in Possession. A second woman wanted in connection to this incident was ruled out as a suspect.

The female suspect is described as a black female, 27-30 years old, medium build, 5’2” to 5’4”, light complexion, with long, straight hair. The male suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, thin build, 5’6” to 5’8”, dark complexion, with a “twisties” short to medium length hairstyle.1
Just after 2 p.m. on December 25, 2025, District 1 officers responded to a Call for Police-Call for Help at 4300 S. Kingshighway.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to the hospital and later died.
Homicide detectives were then requested to take the lead in the investigation.
The victim has been identified as 68-year-old Albert Willis. The victim’s family has been notified.
