Around 9:30 p.m. on February 22, 2025, District 4 officers responded to the area of S. 14th Street and Clark Avenue regarding a person being hit by a MetroLink train.
When officers arrived on scene, they found an adult man who had been struck by an eastbound MetroLink train.
Witnesses reported the man was in an unauthorized area of the property when he stepped over the retaining wall and then stumbled onto the tracks.
The Medical Examiner’s Office responded.
Next of kin notification is pending.
